Computer is fixed!!!!!!!!!

My computer is fixed!!! Yay!!!! Thanks Alex!!!

Boy do I have a TON to share!

We spent the day before Sawyer's party doing mostly last minute cleaning, mostly playing outside, really! We got to fun oversized yard games set up and did a bit of decorating.  I had some zucchini, though... :) I REALLY wanted zucchini bread, but our oven is still out from the service drop shorting it out. So we improvised!!!

Um, one word. YUMMMMMMMMMMM............

Gabriel is slowly getting over his fear of toads. So long as they don't wriggle or jump!!! :P

Jenga!
We call this Hillbilly Golf!

I also played around with my camera a bit while the kids were sleeping. Speaking of camera, my original set of batteries finally died. They lasted WAY longer than I thought. So I put in my rechargable ones I bought just for it and they already exhausted! :O

As the steam roller rolls on by....

Yep. Steam roller. The county has decided to repair and retop our road. lol. Gabriel has been obsessed with watching them. This morning they let him sit on the steam roller. Great guys! :)

As soon as it was obvious the Isabelle and Gabriel were well again, Sawyer spiked a fever. I was up most of last night with a feverish baby. We started opting for less medicines about a year ago. Throwing most OTC junk out! Opting for holistic care, like elderberry syrup, colloidal silver, and GOOT. At what point do you break down and get out a fever reducer???

For me it was 102.5 last night. I would have liked to let it break naturally. That is what our bodies are supposed to do, afterall! When it comes to the baby, though, I get scared! I feel like I am a bad mom either way. :(

It's done...and he slept better the remainder of the wee hours.

Of course, having a sick baby makes for a sad mommy. Even more saddening is that my friend Shannon was supposed to stop for a visit while passing through today on her way home from SD to SC. I was so looking forward to it. She and I have so much in common. Perhaps another time....

Garden is slowly producing. We need to get some things planted for Fall. IDK if we will....lol!! But we have been getting a LOT of little tomatoes!! So I altered a recipe a bit I found on Pinterest night before last. It was SO yummy!! And even my non pasta fan DH liked it!!

Last night I made another new dish. A sweet potatoe hash. Also a hit with my husband!! SCORE!

Sawyer's party is Saturday! I still have SO much to do. I am praying he well get better today, so I can get some things done.  I did get favor bags done!

Have a Blessed day!

Sawyer's one year pictures

We finished off Matt's weekend off by going to Lincoln State Park for some pictures of Sawyer at the Boyhood Farm. It was humid and cloudy, the lighting was wonderful! I am still learning this camera (which is, by the way, my third in 7 weeks). It is a Nikon, a bit bigger than a normal P and S.

Party plans are coming along. Cleaning, not so much...lol! In all seriousness, though, my bulging disk issue seems to be flaring up. :(  I just don't have time to be out of commission!!! Shannon and her family are supposed to be here Thursday afternoon, I teach a preschool (homeschool co-op) on Friday, and Saturday is THE day! I could use some prayer!

Tomatoes are finally coming on pretty strong. Sadly they are all small ones. Like cherry size. But that is ok! I have a pretty good sized bowl, though, so I will be working on a recipe adaption tomorrow for dinner.

Night and Blessings!!

Sawyer is now a year old....

I can't believe my last baby is a year old. :(

We had a fun day Wednesday and I am excited for his party next Saturday!!
First thing is BREAKFAST! Right now Sawyer loves to have banana every morn.

Fell asleep before we even pulled out of the drive with a calculator to his ear like a phone! :P

God, it's me, Sawyer, do you want a dried leaf? I will share! :)

Super Fast Mommy!

Sawyer LOVES the swing!

Gabriel likes to swing, too!

We shall continue party and company preparations! It is finally starting to feel like Fall though and I am itching to spend time outdoors!!

Matt and Isabelle went squirrel hunting a few times this week, so squirrel for dinner! lol!!! Matt is off this weekend, so I hope we can get some work done around here. If I can keep myself inside working, that is! There are fun things going on EVERYWHERE!!!
